We caught up with the Fulham FC manager today and give him a little interview on the season so far and transfers in and out of the club so far,
FFC TIMES – We would like to start this interview on the players you have brought in, you have signed T_Huddlestone, J_Milner, J_Spearing, N_Eccleston, D_Pacheco. Rumours also has it that you have just singed A_Lennon, Are you happy with these signgings and whats the news on lennon??
KEV WELFORD – I am very happy that the chairman has giving me the backing of bringing these players in, He has given me the money to sign any player i want but i am opting for the young English players and so far i have brought in some quailty English talent, with hopefully another english player coming to join us within the next few days. I can confirm our intrest in A_Lennon and we are close to breaking our transfer record for the guy, he is a talented youngster, he has pace, good crossing, great with ball at the feet.
FFC TIMES – You have also sold or part exchanged players in some deals, did you get rid of some players to free up space in your team or just did not fit in your plans??
KEV WELFORD – I got rid of these players after i sat them down in my office and told the players who leave the club that they will be limited to time on the pitch, so i was willing to let them leave the club to find somewhere to play football week in week out, I also got rid of some of the foriegn players as i told the chairman that i want mostly English if not a full team of English players. It also allowed us to free up space at the club and lower the money involved in some deal to allow us have money for other players.
FFC TIMES – You have started well to the season, but it is still early days. How do you think your team will do for the rest of the season??
KEV WELFORD – I am very happy with the start from the lads, we have all worked hard in training and as you can see it works on the pitch. We have won 2 games and lost 1, the lads are really proud of the way things have started at the club, and also make every new signing welcome and they fit in very well to our system of play. If the lads keep up the good work in training then we have a good chance to be up there with a shout for the league and also maybe a cup win, but the lads have to keep there feet on the floor as its a marathon not a 100 metre sprint.
FFC TIMES – The fans have taken a straight likeness to you, is this a key factor for a manager??
KEV WELFORD – Its a big postive that the fans really like the signings i make and the way the football the lads play on the pitch is coming off, i told the fans that i will bring in decent players and will play the football that they want to see from the players, I am greatful that they were singing “Theres Only One Kev Welford” at the win against Man City tonight, but i jus want to say we need to keep backing the team even though it was nice to hear that but we need to get behind the players not me, as they do all the hard work on the pitch.
FFC TIMES – Thanks for you time Kev.
KEV WELFORD – No problem, i am always happy to be interviewed by Fulham FC Times.

Skysports caught up with Fulham FC manager Kev Welford today and Interviewed him for the 1st time since he was appointed there manager earlier this week.
SSN – Congratulations on become Fulham FC manager, What made you take this job?
Kev Welford – I took this job after a long meeting with the Fulham FC Chairman, and he put forward to me what he wants this club to do, and hes ambitions matched mine, so was only fair to take this job. Both me and the chairman wants Fulham FC to become one of the major forces in FMFA, he also wanted a manager who could bring the fans the attacking style passing football they want to see. Also we both want this club to bring in some youth players mainly english.
SSN – Are you looking to sell off some players?
Kev Welford – Every player has time to show me what they can offer me and the club, once i have decided who i want in my team then i will start to look offload players who dont feature in my plans for the club.
I am trying to keep hold of my best players like M_Schwarzer, B_Hangeland, P_Konchesky, D_Murphy, C_Dempsey, Z_Gera, D_Duff, A_Johnson, B_Zamora. But every player has hes price so if the offer is good enough i might consider the deal.
SSN – You have been linked with some players, are you looking to buy new players already?
Kev Welford – I have already agreed deals with two clubs, which will bring in 4 players to the club, D_Pachceo, N_Eccleston, J_Spearing, T_Huddlestone which 3 are under the age of 21, and also 3 of them are english players. We will be rumoured with quite a few players but it will most probley just be paper talk.
SSN – We know you aint been here long, but have you considered who your captain for the upcoming season will be?
Kev Welford – I have had a look at some players who i will take a closer look at to become my captain but everyone will have a chance in pre-season and training to prove that they can be the leader that im looking for in my team.
SSN – What are you expecting from your first season in FMFA??
Kev Welford – I am hoping that with the players we’ve got is to make a good cup run and not get knocked out the cup early, and also to finsih in the top 3 of our league, if not win the league.
SSN – Thanks for your time, Good Luck for next season
Kev Welford – Thank You!!

Newly appointed Manager Scott Reay spoke to Sky Sports News
Reay: Today is like a dream come true for me, after been given the chance to manage such a bit club with a huge ambition. I have never dreamt of becoming a manager of a top team like Juventus, I will give everything to the club and will get straight into work and get to know the squad and tell them exactly what i want from them, I know already i want to bring some fresh faces to the team, The chairman has given me a good amount of money to spend so therefore i will be going into the market and bring in players i think could make Juventus a better team for the upcoming season
SSN: Is it true that already your in the market for 2 new midfielders if so why is that?
Reay: I came into the job and i know i would love to bring two new faces in straight away if that is possible but that is still some way off, i guess i can just dream at the minute and hope for the best, The guys i want to bring in i know can do a job for Juventus and strengthen our midfield and i know it will take me to break the bank for these guys
SSN: is there any names you could give us or you keeping it off the spotlight for now..
Reay: I can assure you one of the players i would like to bring to Juve is Mehmet Ozil, i have been an admirer of this guy for a very long time, I hope to bring this player to the club within the next few days if possible, but first must agree a few and then hopefully he agree’s terms to come and join up with the team in New Zealend on tour at the minute.!

REAL MADRID ARE THE RUBY FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION TIGER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS FOR SEASON 1
Matias Finkelstein has guided his Real Madrid team to their first major FMFA trophy following a win over Arsenal and other results going their way. A 1-0 win over Arsenal was enough following closest rival F.C. Inter’s 5-4 loss away to Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona holding Bayern Munich to a draw.
The result is a bitter blow to Inter manager Nathan Smith who now goes into the final game of the season knowing that Madrid will be presented the trophy that he came so close to winning. Real Madrid host Inter in tomorrow’s League Game 18 and will be presented with the RFA Tiger League trophy before the game.

It is easy to say that Liverpool have had a season without fulfilling expectations and in a disappointing position in the league table.
They have bought in a new manager mid season, Tyler White, and he has bought players to the club but seen the departure of Insua and Agger to Spurs but have got more players back.
The previous manager Nathan Pursey had sold Milan Jovanovic, who Tyler was looking to buy back, and Fabio Aurelio to Bayern Munich, swapped Itandji for Dudek with Real Madrid, James Milner and Whittingham, and then Tyler Has bought in Michael Dawson, Vedran Corluka, Ledley King and a deal has been made for Valencia’s Bruno. Also with Liverpool interested in Romelo Lukaku of Anderlecht and Higuain of Real Madrid but deal for him look VERY unlikely.
Liverpool have one league match left and the highest league position they can now achieve is 7th. The manager said ‘I will just finish this season and fight for the title next season when I have the full season to achieve it, I knew it would be hard considering the league status the club were in when I took over, but I still wanted to be here.’
The player of the season, if Gerrard has another superb match on match 18, is Steven Gerrard but Maxi Rodriguez and Javier Mascherano also in the top 5 players, it is hard to imagine Liverpool in 9th. Aswell as Fernando Torres a high performer this season aswell.
Liverpool have confirmed the team line up for the last match against Manchester City,
Pepe Reina
Glen Johnson
Jamie Carragher
Ledley King (Debut)
Michael Dawson (Debut)
Steven Gerrard
Javier Mascherano
Alberto Aquilani
Maximilano Rodriguez
Fernando Torres
Jonjo Shelvey

A.C. Milan have been relegated from the FMFA Tiger League and will play Season 2 in the Wolf League alongside newcomers Aston Villa.
Aug 3rd
v
Venue: Camp Nou (Barcelona) – 98,772
Liverpool will be looking to Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard to lead their team to glory against a team they are expected to lose heavily against. Real Madrid, the current Tiger League leaders and a team boasting the likes of Ronaldo, Higuain, Kaka, Ramos, Casillas, the list goes on. Liverpool are statistically the second worse team in the whole of the FMFA at the moment, second only to Charlton Athletic, and have recorded just 3 league wins this season, the fact they are in the semi finals of the FMFA Champions League is nothing short of a miracle. Liverpool will be praying for a miracle if they are to reach the final and travel to Germany to face either Manchester United or Rangers.
Real Madrid have lost just 3 games this season in a league which boasts such magnificent talent but they do have their weak points as Spurs showed in their 2-2 draw. However their manager is one of the best and with the game in Spain Real Madrid would like to think they have home advantage but with it being Camp Nou they know it won’t be that easy. The atmosphere of the Camp Nou could count against Real Madrid and give Liverpool a slight advantage but this is a game where the smallest mistake can win or lose a game and Madrid will have to be on top form to not slip up here especially under the extreme pressure they face themselves in.
However SkySports will go with the favourites and fully expect Madrid to win this one, probably by a large margin but we are going for 3-0.
v
Venue: Emirates Stadium (London) – 60,355
This game is a lot closer on paper than it would first seem. Rangers are currently 4th in the Tiger League, 5 points above Manchester United and before today’s games they were 2nd. Shows how tight the top of the Tiger League is. The difference is though this is one game and Rangers don’t have any stars to speak of other than Jesus Navas while Man U boast the likes of Evra, Vidic, Fletcher, Guardado and Ferdinand. However Manchester United have lost their star man Wayne Rooney which is good news for Rangers as United don’t really have a suitable replacement for Rooney and will have to rely on the unpredictable Berbatov and the unproven Hernandez.
Manchester United should, and probably will, win this game but either of these two teams could be travelling to Germany to play in the final. We will go with a 1-1 draw in normal time with Manchester United edging out Rangers in extra time.
